FIVEY: The Brimstone Gospel

Thoughts on using the FIVEY framework to run my apocalyptic white whale, The Brimstone Gospel:

  • Level-0 row (title, skill, feat) associated with the human character.
  • Each row after level 0 (i.e., levels from 1-5) are associated with demons whom the human has appropriated as spiritual aspects of themselves.
  • Demons contribute base hit points to the character's total. They also contribute a skill (think of it as the demon's domain) and a feat (the demon's special move).

I initially had a note that players need to switch between aspects to use their feats, but I think that's kinda extra and it would be easier / more interesting if feats could be used on demand.

A question: can characters overwrite skills or feats? This would also be a question for FIVEY in general. I think so, whether because (in fantasy FIVEY) the character has practiced a new thing lately, or because (in The Brimstone Gospel) the character has made a pact with another demon.
